Our company, Tolnatej Zrt., is Hungary’s largest semi-hard cheese manufacturer, with roots dating back to 1955, when the company’s legal predecessor was established. We are one of the few dynamically developing and continuously expanding companies in the country that are 100% Hungarian-owned.
At our cheese plant with a capacity of 50 tonnes per day, our milk powder plant with a capacity of 50 tonnes per day, and our production unit dedicated to fresh dairy products, we process 250 million litres of extra-quality milk annually. By processing the highest-quality raw materials and applying strict quality and hygiene controls, we ensure the excellent quality of our products while fully adapting to the diverse and rapidly changing needs of our customers.
Our dynamic development is supported by continuous investments aimed at modernization and by ongoing product development. The technological standards and manufacturing processes of our plant fully comply with EU regulations and the strict food safety requirements of the IFS Food standard.
Our products are marketed under the Tolle and Cirmi brand names. Our product range, developed with healthy and balanced nutrition in mind, is available to consumers throughout the country.
